Qatar Airways Group CEO Akbar Al Baker said delivery of the airline's first A350-1000 aircraft was postponed until Feb-2018 due to the "complex seat configuration" of the 'QSuite' business class cabin (Bloomberg/Reuters, 22-Jan-2018). Mr Al Baker said: "The installation of the QSuite is taking longer than what we expected". Qatar Airways is the launch customer for the A350-1000.
