QantasLink confirms Alliance Airlines will operate some of its Northern Queensland routes

QantasLink confirmed Alliance Airlines will operate some Mount Isa-Brisbane services on behalf of the carrier between 04-Dec-2017 and Mar-2018 (North West Star, 28-Nov-2017). Alliance Airlines will operate Fokker F100 regional jets, with 100 economy class seats, replacing QantasLink Boeing 717s with either 110 seats (two class configuration) or 125 seats (all economy). QantasLink is taking the step to allow it to improve schedule reliability by training more pilots and improve aircraft availability.
