14 February, 2019

Qantas announced (14-Feb-2019) it is using virtual reality (VR) in development of its new First Lounge at Singapore Changi Airport, slated to open in late 2019. Use of VR aims to improve lounge design and provide "more accurate sense of space and an understanding of how it will look to scale", Qantas International CEO Alison Webster said. Overall lounge capacity in Singapore will increase by 60%, with First and Business Lounges combined offering seating for more than 800 travellers. [more - original PR]
