Tourism Solomons (TS) CEO Josefa Tuamoto said the Solomon Islands needs to address current accommodation issues if it hopes to achieve a visitor arrivals target of 60,000 p/a by 2025 (South Pacific Tourism Organisation, 21-Jan-2019). He noted a "minimum of 700 new quality rooms" would be required for the goal to be feasible.
