Qantas announced (30-Jan-2018) it would commence daily Boeing 787-9 service between Brisbane and Los Angeles from 01-Sep-2018, replacing 747-400 aircraft currently operating this route. The aircraft will then continue on as QF11/12, Qantas' connecting service between Los Angeles and New York JFK. [more - original PR]
