Qantas talks innovation and partnerships at the ACTE-CAPA Global Conference Sydney

Last week, The Blue Swan Daily caught up with Qantas Airways Head of Business & Government Sales John Simeone on the sidelines of the 2017 ACTE-CAPA Global Conference Sydney to talk all things innovation, partnerships and relationships with customers and travel management companies.

Throughout our discussion, Mr Simeone explores Qantas' new Boeing 787-9 equipment describing it as "game changing" especially in terms of corporate travellers. He believes being able offer a shorter service between Australia and the UK allows Qantas to cater better to the time sensitive corporate market.

Mr Simeone also talks partnerships, delving into the important Qantas-Emirates partnership which has recently be renewed for another five years. "Qantas' partnership with Emirates was critical to the carrier's turnaround, however Qantas is continuing to focus on partnerships by expanding relationships with a number of carriers, including LATAM, China Eastern and El Al."
