Qantas introduced (04-Dec-2018) the following new services and features via the Qantas Agency Connect platform:
- Fare rule waiver form: Waiver form requests for a missed ticketing time limit or expired fare;
- Name correction (codeshare and interline): Request to correct names on bookings containing a codeshare or interline service;
- My agency profile: Agency managers can now easily keep agency information up to date through the my agency profile, including adding and maintaining details of ticket centre or consolidator to enable them to perform certain servicing on the agency’s behalf;
- Password reset: Agency managers can manage passwords by using a refurbished password reset and forgotten password options.
The carrier also plans to introduce a new web chat service in 2019 to support agents in navigating Qantas Agency Connect. [more – original PR]
