Qantas Group enters agreement with Melbourne airport on the sale of domestic terminal

Qantas Group reached (09-May-2019) an agreement with Melbourne Tullamarine Airport on the sale of the airline's domestic terminal. The sale includes a 10 year future access agreement to the terminal for AUD355 million (USD247.6 million), with AUD285 million (USD198.8 million) to be received in cash in FY2019, with the remaining to be received in installments. The future access agreement includes the option to operate some international services from Terminal 1 outside of peak domestic times as well as access to lounges for domestic services.
