Qantas and American Airlines announced (10-Oct-2019) the following amendments to Qantas Frequent Flyer and American Airlines AAdvantange programmes:
- Up to 3.5 times more Qantas Points on American Airlines services between Australia and the US, with up to five times more Status Credits on American Airlines services between Australia and the US;
- Qantas Points for "Classic Flight Rewards" on American Airlines services can be used in premium economy for the first time, in addition to economy, business and first class;
- American Airlines AAdvantange members can now earn more miles systemwide and elite status more quickly on services between the US and Australia or New Zealand;
- In addition to extended frequent flyer benefits, expanded codeshare and new routes to the US, Qantas' loyalty programme recently announced it would increase the number of reward seats made available to members. [more - original PR]
