Qantas foreign shareholding falls to 43.35% in Jul-2018

    Qantas reported (16-Aug-2018) foreign persons potentially held relevant interests in 43.35% of the carrier’s issued share capital, as of 24-Jul-2018. The figure is down from 45.57% as of 30-May-2018. The Qantas Sale Act 1992 and the Qantas Constitution provide that foreign persons are permitted to hold no more than 49% of the carrier’s issued share capital. [more – original PR]
