Qantas confirmed (30-Nov-2018) the following network update for services to Asia:
- Sydney-Hong Kong: One of two daily Sydney-Hong Kong services will be retimed to depart Sydney in the evening from 31-Mar-2019, offering passengers a choice of either a morning or evening departure from Sydney. QF127/128 will also operate with Boeing787-9 equipment six times weekly;
- Perth-Singapore: Adjusted Perth-Singapore schedule in Jul-2018 and moved to daily A330-200 for QF71/72, in lieu of twice daily 737 service. QF71/72 will continue to operate daily with A330-200 from 31-Mar-2019, with new Business Suite and refurbished cabin interiors;
- Upgauges for Hong Kong and Singapore: Operate larger aircraft on selected services to Singapore and Hong Kong over the coming months as part of the current season schedule. QF71 and QF72 Perth to Singapore services will continue to operate with A330 in lieu of 737. [more – original PR]
