Qantas announced (15-Nov-2019) its project sunrise London-Sydney research flight landed after 19 hours and 19 minutes. The research flight reduced travel time by approximately two hours and is the second time a commercial airline has operated the route, after Qantas operated a near empty Boeing 747-400 in 1989.
