Priority Pass adds 141 new locations in 12 month period, taking total access points past 1200

Priority Pass reported (12-Jun-2018) it added 141 new airport lounges to its members access programme between Jun-2017 and Jun-2018, taking total access for members to more than 1200 lounges, dining and spa experiences globally. Details include:

  • Asia Pacific: 64 lounges added, with "noteworthy" expansion in Australia including lounges in Adelaide and Melbourne airports for the first time, and an additional lounge in Sydney Airport's Terminal 2;
  • Europe, the Middle East and Africa: 48 lounges added, including a number of new openings in Russia. Highlights include the addition of the 'Kandinsky Lounge' at Moscow Sheremetyevo International Airport, plus access to the 'Primeclass Lounge' in the new Muscat International Airport;
  • North America: 27 new lounges, including the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse in Los Angeles International Airport Terminal 2, the first Virgin Clubhouse lounge in the programm. In addition, Priority Pass entered an exclusive partnership at Miami International Airport with Air Margaritaville;
  • Latin America: New deals with bars and restaurants including Bleriot Bar & Lounge and La Bonbonniere in Brazil and Peru.

Alongside additions to its traditional lounge portfolio, Priority Pass introduced 34 new dining, spa and relaxation experiences which are able to be accessed in the same way as airport lounges. [more - original PR]
