Prime Minister of Australia outlines continued inbound passenger arrivals cap

Australia's Prime Minister Scott Morrison stated (07-Aug-2020) the National Cabinet agreed that existing caps on international passenger arrivals would continue in order to manage and maintain quarantine arrangements across jurisdictions. Until 24-Oct-2020, the following will apply:

  • Sydney: Limit of 350 passenger arrivals daily;
  • Perth: Limit of 525 passenger arrivals weekly;
  • Brisbane: Limit of 500 passenger arrivals weekly;
  • Adelaide: Limit of 500 passenger arrivals weekly;
  • Canberra and Darwin: Passenger limits on each flight to be discussed with jurisdictions on a case-by-case basis;
  • Hobart: No international services;
