Portugal seeks to form a travel bubble with the UK: 'Quarantine is an enemy of tourism'

Portugal reportedly is seeking to create a travel bubble with the UK, which would remove the 14 day quarantine period requirement for UK tourists (News Avia, 03-Jun-2020). Portugal's Minister of Trade Augusto Santos Silva stated: "The quarantine is an enemy of tourism… Our diplomats will work over the next few weeks to ensure the British tourists are not subject to any sort of quarantine upon their return to the UK".
