Pittsburgh International Airport CEO attributes pax growth to new nonstop airline services

Pittsburgh International Airport (Pennsylvania) handled 9.7 million passengers in 2018, a 7.5% increase year-on-year (90.5 WESA, 04-Feb-2019). Allegheny County Airport Authority CEO Christina Cassotis attributed the increase to new nonstop airline services. Ms Cassotis further added these results demonstrate the airport is "getting better at providing the service that the community needs".
