Philippines' Department of Tourism (DoT) reported its target of 9.2 million international visitors in 2020 will be driven by more airport development projects, enabling tourists to bypass Manila Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Business World Online, 08-Jan-2020). The Department's 2019 tourism arrival target was set at 8.2 million.
