Philippine Airlines to increase Manila-Melbourne frequency in late Oct-2018

Philippine Airlines plans to increase Manila-Melbourne frequency from five to seven times weekly, effective 28-Oct-2018, according to a 25-Jun-2018 GDS display. The airline operates the service with A330-300 equipment. As previously reported by CAPA, Cebu Pacific plans to commence Manila-Melbourne service in Aug-2018, ending Philippine Airlines' monopoly on the route.
