Philippine Airlines introduces additional security screening for US and UK services

Philippine Airlines announced (22-Jun-2018) plans to enhance security measures on US bound services to include screening of powder-like substances on a random continuous basis, effective 30-Jun-2018, in line with regulatory requirements of the US Department of Homeland Security. The airline also implemented enhanced security measures for UK bound services with additional random screening of check in baggage and gate screening procedures, in line with regulatory requirements of the UK Department for Transport.
