Pegasus Airlines and Turkish Airlines among carriers with lowest unit costs of their kind in Europe

CAPA - Centre for Aviation, in a report entitled: 'Turkish Airlines vs. Pegasus: different models and aviation market segments, but same profit cycle' stated (19-Mar-2018) the carriers succeeded in being among those with the lowest unit costs of their kind in Europe. Turkish Airlines and Pegasus Airlines recorded significant increases in unit revenue and unit cost in 2017, in local currency. These metrics were inflated by weakening of the TRY against the USD and EUR, however RASK growth was faster than CASK growth for both. [more - CAPA Analysis]
