Papua New Guinea's Prime Minister James Marape issued a travel ban on all international operations into the nation, as well as declared a state of emergency (Stuff/RNZ, 20/23-Mar-2020). Mr Marape stated: "Starting Tuesday 24th of March this country will come to a lockdown for a period of 14 days".
