Oslo Airport to undergo EUR348.9m terminal expansion

Avinor announced (15-Jun-2018) plans to launch an expansion of Oslo Gardermoen Airport non Schengen area after passport controls. The extension will provide a total area of 39,700sqm, representing investment of NOK3.3 billion (EUR348.9 million), expanding airport capacity from 5.5 million to eight million p/a. The expansion involves installation of 14 aircraft parking spaces, four of which will be flexible gates handling traffic from areas both inside and outside the Schengen area, as well as additional space for commercial activity.
