New Zealand Airports Association (NZ Airports) reported (28-Jan-2020) according to Stats NZ, domestic passengers are now paying NZD14 (USD9.2) on average more for their flight, compared to 12 months earlier. NZ Airports attributed the 8.5% increase to Jetstar's withdrawal from regional routes, as well as Air New Zealand and Qantas' reciprocal agreement to cooperate in each other's domestic markets.
