NT Airports 'contemplating legal action' over Qantas not paying charges over the past three years

Northern Territory Airports Pty Ltd (NT Airports), in a submission made to Australia's Productivity Commission, stated (27-Aug-2018) Qantas Group failed to pay the 2.5% annual increase in airport charges at Darwin and Alice Springs airports over the past three years. NT Airports stated debt currently stands at AUD1.6 million (USD1.1 million) as a result of lack of payments, and is "seriously contemplating legal action as its only avenue of redress".
