NSW Government receives USD75.9m from Sydney Airport rail line in 2019, increased growth expected

New South Wales acting Labor Leader Yasmin Catley reported the NSW Government received AUD110 million (USD75.9 million) in 2019 from airport rail access fees paid by travellers to and from the Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport (Sydney Morning Herald, 10-Jan-2020). Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport received 9.5 million travellers to and from the airport via train in 2018, a year-on-year increase of 14%. According to Airport Link Company, the rail line is expected to deliver "continued revenue growth" in FY2020 and "subsequent years".
