Norwegian to launch long haul routes with cabin upgrades at London Gatwick in 2018

Norwegian Group CEO Bjørn Kjos stated (13-Feb-2018) the airline will exclusively launch its newest long haul routes with cabin upgrades at London Gatwick before anywhere else on its network. Mr Kjos said 10 new Boeing 787 aircraft, scheduled to enter the fleet in 2018, will feature the new expanded 56 seat premium cabin, which will replace the current Gatwick based 787 fleet. In addition, long haul WiFi will be rolled out from the end of 2018 on 787 and 737 MAX aircraft with plans to offer a free WiFi option and a paid high speed option. [more - original PR]
