Northern Territory Govt provides USD2.5m to Asia Pacific Aircraft Storage Maintenance Facility

Northern Territory's Government announced (30-Jul-2020) plans to provide AUD3.5 million (USD2.5 million) to the Alice Springs Asia Pacific Aircraft Storage Maintenance Facility through the Local Jobs Fund, helping double its capacity to store and service aircraft. The Local Jobs Fund investment will go towards stages two and three of the development of the facility, with stage two expanding the existing facility to immediately increase storage capacity from 24 to between 50-70 aircraft.
