Koryo Tours announced (22-Jan-2020) North Korea temporarily closed its borders to tourism in order to prevent spread of the coronavirus. The SARS related virus was first detected in Wuhan, China in Dec-2019 and has since spread to other Chinese cities including Shenzhen and Beijing, as well as abroad to South Korea, Japan, and potentially also Thailand.
