NokScoot CEO Yodchai Sudhidhanakul said the airline expects 2019 to be its "best year ever" (Travel Daily News, 07-Jan-2019). The airline expects to take delivery of five narrowbody and two widebody aircraft and commence nine new services to destinations in China, India, Japan and South Korea in 2019. Mr Yodchai commented: "New services and aircraft deliveries in 2019 will also further strengthen our Bangkok hub by providing customers with faster and more convenient connectivity to and from North and South Asia into Thailand".
