Niue's Social Services Director General Gaylene Tasmania reported the government raised its alert system to "Yellow Alert" and outlined the following travel restrictions for Niue (TV Niue, 25-Mar-2020):
- Only residents may enter the island;
- All travellers must sign a declaration to be quarantined upon arrival in pre-arranged accommodation;
- Any passenger that does not sign the declaration will not be permitted entry into Niue.
