Newcastle Williamtown Airport experiences busiest day since 09-Apr-2020

Newcastle Williamtown Airport announced (10-Jul-2020) the airport achieved its busiest day since 09-Apr-2020, with Queensland borders opening to New South Wales and passengers travelling to Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Newcastle Airport CEO Peter Cock said early demand for travel north had been strong, and "Whilst a number of these services are scheduled for four or five times a week from Monday, hopes are that all flights will increase to daily soon".
