Newcastle Airport: Virgin Australia link to New Zealand adds service to 'number one unserved market'

Newcastle Airport CEO Dr Peter Cock said (18-Jul-2018) the introduction of Virgin Australia's new Newcastle-Auckland seasonal service is a "huge step forward in becoming a second international gateway into NSW". Dr Cock said New Zealand is the airport's "number one unserved market" and local community support for direct international services has been "extremely strong".
