Zambia's Minister of Transport Brian Mushimba said the country's new national carrier is expected to commence operations in 2018 under the name Zambia Airways (ZNBC, 11-Sep-2017). As previously reported by CAPA, Mr Mushimba said the new airline is necessary to take full advantage of investment in aviation infrastructure.
