New Orleans Louis Armstrong International Airport calls for federal aid amid coronavirus outbreak

    New Orleans Louis Armstrong International Airport aviation director Kevin Dolliole called on the US Congress to provide federal aid to the airport as the demand for air travel falls due to the outbreak of coronavirus (WDSU, 21-Mar-2020). Mr Dolliole said the airport needs to cover nearly USD80 million in debt payments in 2020. Mr Dolliole added the airport is making adjustments to curb expenses, such as implementing a hiring freeze and reducing shuttle expenses.
