New Nigerian national carrier to commence operations by Dec-2018

Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), via its official Twitter account, announced (17/18-May-2018) Nigeria's new national carrier will commence operations by Dec-2018. FAAN participated in a meeting with Minister of State for Aviation Hadi Sirika and other government representatives on 17-May-2018 "to ensure the National Carrier commences operations by December 2018". Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission acting director general Chidi Izuwah commented: "The national carrier is very crucial for our economy and in addition the entire aviation infrastructure" (NAN, 22-MAy-2018).
