New Caledonian Congress voted 37 to 15 to approve a USD50 million loan guarantee supporting Air Calin plans to buy two A330neo and two A320neo aircraft for fleet renewal (Radio New Zealand, 11-Aug-2017). Airbus and Air Calin signed an MoU for the aircraft in late Nov-2016. According to the MoU, the aircraft will be delivered between 2019 and 2021. The A320neo aircraft will be configured with 170 seats, while the A330neo aircraft will offer 272 seats.
