Nepal Airlines executive chairman Madan Kharel reported the airline will “focus on extending flights to Israel” following the launch of international services to Japan, mainland China and Saudi Arabia (The Himalayan Times, 21-Feb-2019). Mr Kharel said Nepal Airlines is also exploring plans to launch services to destinations in Sri Lanka, Cambodia and Vietnam, adding: “We have dispatched technical teams to those countries to hold discussions”.
