Nelson Airport opens first stage of new terminal, overall construction 60% complete

    Nelson Airport opened (09-Oct-2018) stage one of its new terminal building for use by airlines and passengers. The construction programme is 60% complete, with temporary facilities continuing to be in place while stage two is under construction. As previously reported by CAPA, the airport’s new 22m high control tower owned by Airways New Zealand and adjacent to the terminal development also recently opened.
