National Aviation Services CEO Hassan El-Houry stated the expansion of Dar Es Salaam International Airport and the development of an aviation "eco system" has made Dar es Salaam a "natural hub" (Tanzania Daily News, 11-Jan-2018). Mr El-Houry also cited the presence of Precision Air and fastjet as a major factor in Dar es Salaam's potential as a hub. He also noted the government's push to revive Air Tanzania is "good for sector expansion".
