Muscat International Airport to deploy two humanoid robots once terminal opens

Muscat International Airport plans to deploy two humanoid robots once its new terminal opens on 20-Mar-2018 (Gulf News, 14-Mar-2018). The airport also reportedly plans to enforce a strict check-in deadline of three hours. Once open, the airport will cover more than 580,000sqm and offer 86 check-in counters, 10 baggage claim belts, 40 gates, 29 lounges and 29 aircraft aerobridges. A new air traffic tower was also constructed.
