Munich Airport president and CEO Michael Kerkloh forecast Istanbul Airport will not have a major impact on Europe's hub systems (Air Transport World, 10-Oct -2019). Mr Kerkloh said Istanbul Airport is likely to compete with Gulf hubs, such as Dubai and Doha, rather than European locations.
