Millennium Hotels & Resorts has launched a brand-new corporate bookings product, Millennium for Business, created for small- and medium-sized businesses. A fresh approach to its former Business Direct offering, the new digital programme has been developed to empower SMEs to better manage team travel.
With a booking experience that is integrated with its MyMillennium rewards programme, the dedicated service offers a simple social sign-on and central dashboard that allows businesses to manage travel, make itinerary style bookings, cater to team member needs and earn rewards. All bookings will benefit from the hospitality group’s updated best rate promise which helps business users maximise budgets. It will also give travel managers access to insights and reporting.
Millennium Hotels & Resorts says it has collaborated with the travel industry to design the benefits on offer to Millennium for Business users and guests. These include regular room upgrades, 15% off dining and events, early check-in and late check-out, and access to club or executive lounge.
The new programme will be adopted across all Millennium Hotels & Resorts hotels in Asia, Europe, Middle East and the US and is in the process of being rolled-out across globe. Destinations such as London, Paris, New York, Beijing, Los Angeles, Singapore and others will be available to SMEs for combining business and leisure trips, also known as bleisure travel, an up and coming trend seen within travel.
“Small- and medium-sized enterprise travel managers told us that travel technology usage is both pervasive and individual at the same time therefore wanting a service that personalised corporate travel, though also needing it to be secure and fitting into their travel policies,” explains Nayan Peshkar, senior vice president of digital, distribution and revenue strategy, Millennium Hotels & Resorts.
“Millennium for Business is a product that empowers them as the key target booker, having seen how under-represented they are in the business travel sector. This purely digital platform makes travel procurement efficient, secure and simple,” he adds.
Millennium Hotels & Resorts operates a worldwide portfolio of more than 136 hotels, offering over 40,000 rooms in business and leisure destinations under the Leng’s Collection, M Collection, Millennium Collection and Copthorne Collection brands.
The new Millennium for Business product has been developed alongside a series of partners. According to the hospitality group these include Sitecore, who were responsible for the content management system, Windsurfer, who took charge of the customer reservation system, and Metasphere, who contributed a bespoke customer-relationship management system.
