Mexico cancels plans for Tamuin Airport expansion

Mexico's Government reportedly suspended plans to invest in the expansion of Tamuin National Airport due to cost cutting measures (El Universal, 10-Mar-2020). The government planned to invest in the airport in order to boost tourism in the region. The expansion plan included the acquisition of 95 hectares and was budgeted at MXN1 billion (USD46.7 million).
