Melbourne and Launceston Airport rank first place in 2019 GRESB Infrastructure Assessment

Melbourne Airport, in conjunction with Launceston Airport, received (10-Sep-2019) asset sector leader status for airport companies in the 2019 GRESB Infrastructure Assessment's transport division. Both airports received an overall score of 88 out of 100, 21 points above the average score. Both airports are operated by Australia Pacific Airports Corporation (APAC). APAC CFO Grant Devonport reported over the past year, the company "invested over two million dollars in energy efficiency programmes across Melbourne and Launceston Airports, helping to reduce our carbon footprint and improve operational efficiency".
