Melbourne Airport: New Cebu Pacific service to boost Manila cargo capacity by 50%

Melbourne Tullamarine Airport chief of aviation Simon Gandy welcomed (14-Aug-2018) the launch of Cebu Pacific‘s Manila-Melbourne service. Mr Gandy said the route “is an important one as it supports not only tourism but also connections between family and friends living in both cities”. According to Mr Gandy, the new service will increase cargo capacity between Melbourne and Manila by approximately 50%. Cebu Pacific Air is operating an A330-300 on the route. The route “also opens up opportunities for importers and exporters to transport cargo through the airline’s substantial network into North Asia, including 58 services per week to Greater China via Manila”, said Mr Gandy.
