Malta International Airport presented (29-Jan-2020) details of the airport's upcoming EUR100 million terminal expansion project. The expanded facility will double surface area to 31,200sqm and will be developed gradually to improve passenger experience and airport processes with 25 additional check in desks, four additional security lanes, security screening area enlargement from 773sqm to 2656sqm and 15 more gates (Malta Today/Times of Malta, 29-Jan-2020).
