Maldives resumes scheduled international services

Maldives' Ministry of Tourism, via its official Twitter account, announced (15-Jul-2020) scheduled international services to and from the Maldives resumed on 15-Jul-2020, following a prohibition since 27-Mar-2020 due to the outbreak of coronavirus. As previously reported by CAPA, all international passengers will be provided with a free 30 day tourist visa upon arrival in the Maldives and will not be subject to mandatory quarantine. Passengers displaying symptoms of coronavirus upon arrival are required to undergo PCR testing at airports and health officials are conducting random PCR testing of arrivals at airports.
