Malaysia Airlines submitted a proposal to Khazanah Nasional, seeking approval for a revised turnaround plan (atwonline.com, 10-Jun-2019). The plan includes the restructuring of its business and the remodelling of its fleet strategy to better compete with low cost carriers in the region. It was approved by the carrier's board in Feb-2019 and is expected to be considered by Khazanah in Jun-2019 or early Jul-2019.
