Malaysia Airlines Group CEO on Firefly's Singapore suspension: 'We need a resolution very quickly'

Malaysia Airlines Group CEO Izham Ismail said the suspension of Singapore operations by Firefly is costing the group MYR15 million (USD3.7 million) to MYR20 million (USD4.9 million) per month in lost revenue (The Malaysian Insight, 11-Jan-2019). He commented: "We need a resolution very quickly". As previously reported by CAPA, Firefly suspended Singapore services, effective 01-Dec-2018, pending regulatory approval to transfer operations from Singapore Changi Airport to Singapore Seletar Airport.
