Lviv Danylo Halytskyi International Airport CEO Tatiana Romanovskaya reported the airport is negotiating with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines to open nonstop Amsterdam-Lviv service (CTS, 08-Jan-2019). Ms Romanovskaya noted negotiations are delayed due to the carrier being unable to spare slots at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport to operate the route. According to OAG, Kiev-Amsterdam is the sole route operated between Ukraine and the Netherlands with KLM and Ukraine International Airlines each operating seven times weekly.
